Inside the Box is an award-winning independent tabletop games design and development studio based in East London.

Founded in 2015 by friends at university, Inside the Box has grown into a fully-fledged creative studio, publishing dozens of products around the world in many different languages.

Adopting a radical approach to innovation and design, Inside the Box is one of the few studios worldwide capable of producing new tabletop games entirely in-house.

This, alongside Inside the Box’s central commitment to supporting social justice, environmental campaigns, and investing in the community has attracted top tier talent from across a range of industries.

Linda Canton
Linda Canton
Operations Director
Favourite Game:
Wingspan

Linda is the absolute legend that keeps things moving, projects progressing and games getting made. Linda can usually be found on the phone to shipping partners, or crunching numbers in one of many trademark google sheets. Her diligence is matched only by her love of fabric arts. She's working on a piece of clothing for each Inside the Box game...

Lawrence Rowe
Lawrence Rowe
Media Developer
Favourite Game:
Night of the Living Dead

Lawrence is the goofy and talented pair of hands behind the camera or screen for all the Inside the Box videos and much more! Lawrence is a big fan of Skora, is a cat dad to Beans, and spends his spare time experimenting with film and playing an excruciating amount of video games.

Peter Blenkharn
Peter Blenkharn
CEO
Favourite Game:
Snowblind

Often seen sporting his trademark novelty t-shirt and unmatched fruit-themed socks, Peter runs the show at Inside the Box - coordinating projects, managing the team and planning out the future of the studio. He's part manager, part creative director, part unhinged goblin. When he's not battering his keyboard at 3am to finish some overly detailed spreadsheet, he's mostly painting his Warhammer models or fiddling with his 3D printer, making...something.

Lauren Quinn
Lauren Quinn
Art Director
Favourite Game:
Ravine

The unflappable Lauren is often the source of confusion as she tackles all sorts of bizarre technical issues that come up when getting stuff ready for print. How she wields the adobe magic, we don't quite know. While we're sure Lauren has made a pact with some sort of adobe demon, she's otherwise found accumulating edgy tattoos and designing stuff for friends.

Luke Evison
Luke Evison
Games Developer
Favourite Game:
Dice Fishing: Roll & Catch

Chuckling away while meticulously fiddling with game projects, Luke is quirk embodied. When he's not beavering away with playtest reports and grinding through a rulebook edit, he occupies his time with assorted food experiments like drying french sausage under his bed in a giant tupperware.

Kaysi Foster
Kaysi Foster
Communications Assistant
Favourite Game:
Magic Maze

Kaysi is the unwavering beam of sunshine who helps customers and fans through all their questions and queries. Exuding raw wholesome energy, Kaysi is often seen in a brightly coloured set of dungarees sporting an infectious grin. When not helping out customers, Kaysi is usually found buried in sci fi novels or lost in Animal Crossing.

Rose Atkinson
Rose Atkinson
Games Director
Favourite Game:
Railroad Ink

Having spent nearly 5 years with Inside the Box, Rose is as much part of Inside the Box as you can get. She's the one behind our popular internship scheme, our submission portal, leads development on all our games and has also designed a whole load herself, too. When she's not shooting side-eye at Peter for his latest madcap scheme, she's generally living the aspirational London life of museums and galleries, as well as being the cool one that goes to clubs.

We're a Climate-Neutral Organisation. That means we're always looking to minimise our climate impact, and contribute to climate protection programmes.

Our work is about making amazing games and sharing them with you, part of that is recognising that everything we make, everything we do impacts the world around us. From the forests that supply the paper used in our games, to the vehicles that transport them to your house - every part of the process of bringing games to people around the world has an impact, however small, on the environment in which we all live and share.

We're committed to radical action to address the climate crisis, and are always looking for ways to reduce the climate impact of us as individuals, as a company, and for each of our products. We're working on a range of ways to do this, with the first being a contribution of 5% of every transaction made through the Stripe payments system to the Stripe Climate Fund, an action fund which brings together thousands of organisations around the world to fund bleeding edge technology in carbon capture and storage - an essential tool in the fight to reverse the catastrophic climate change that threatens our world.
